This Privacy Policy describes how Zimmerman Legacy Holdings LLC (operating as Diapers to Disciples) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Ask D.D. on the web at ask.diaperstodisciples.com or through the Ask D.D. iOS app.
We collect information you provide directly: account information (email and name via Google, Apple, or magic link sign-in), family profile (faith tradition, caregiver role, and children's names, ages, and developmental stages), conversation content you submit when seeking guidance, and feedback ratings.
We also collect usage data automatically via PostHog analytics, including which screens you visit and actions you take. Session activity may be recorded to help us improve the app.
To understand what families ask and improve Ask D.D., we keep a de-identified record of the opening question submitted for guidance — including from visitors who are not signed in. This record is not linked to your identity (no account identifier and no IP address is stored), and we automatically remove names, emails, and phone numbers before saving it. We do not retain this text for messages that indicate a safety crisis. It is used only for product analytics, never to identify you.
We use your information to provide and personalize the Ask D.D. service, generate guidance tailored to your family, maintain your conversation history, analyze app usage to improve features, and communicate with you about your account.
Ask D.D. generates guidance using a third-party artificial-intelligence provider, Anthropic, PBC. When you ask D.D. for guidance, we send the following to Anthropic so it can produce a response on our behalf:
We do not send your email address or account identifiers to Anthropic. We ask for your permission before sending any data to our AI provider, and you can withdraw that permission at any time; if you do, AI-powered features will be unavailable. Anthropic processes this data only to generate the response and is contractually required to protect it to a standard equal to or greater than our own. Anthropic does not use your data to train its models. For more detail, see Anthropic's privacy policy.
We share data with the following service providers:
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your information with third parties for advertising purposes.
Ask D.D. is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Information about your children is submitted by you as a parent and used only to personalize guidance for you.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may permanently delete your account and data at any time from the account screen in the app — this takes effect immediately. You may also request deletion by emailing legal@diaperstodisciples.com; we will process emailed requests within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated usage data may be retained for cost and service analytics.
You may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. Texas residents have rights under the TDPSA. California residents have rights under CCPA. EU residents have rights under GDPR. Contact legal@diaperstodisciples.com to exercise any of these rights.
